Take It From Your Herbalist
Hey everybody. BJ here and today I want to talk to you about a very special herb.
Let's Talk Brahmi!
In Ayurvedic medicine Brahmi (AKA: Bacopa Monnieri) has been known to increase and improve cognitive function. Have you ever wanted to assist with the way you learn and retain new information? Have you thought about speeding up the process in which you take in new visual information at work or school?
If so, Brahmi may be a wonderful and useful plant ally to enhance neuron communication. (1) Studies have shown its helpfulness for Alzheimer's patients for memory formation also! (2, 3) Brahmi is an adaptogen, which means that is has the ability to affect mood states. Depression and anxiety all fall under mood states that adaptogens are able to positively influence.
Brahmi is one of my favorite herbs to calm and help focus, which is why we lovingly grow it in the Mizzle Greenhouse.
